Being very peculiar about spending my energy, I have been attending only the venues where I was sure I was gonna feel comfortable, get in without any problem or even better : was paid for attending or had some other serious benefit that made me simply happy.
…Thus, most of the time I actually wasn´t partying, nor I wasn´t doing drugs. I stayed clean for all the summer except for awesome 3 parties where I decided to party long.
Instead of partying hard, I was staying home and working on myself. There´s literally so many things I want to do and I want to achieve that a 12h day is not enough. Eventually, I am very happy with my outwork and very happy with the parties I´ve been to.
Almost every week, except for the August I´ve been to DC10 for the CircoLoco so I did Circo Loco Opening and Closing.
I went to the few afterparties, villa parties and little venues like parties in the Underground. The best one for me was the #DeLeon50, Seth Birthday and the villa party in Roca Lisa where I played.
Miserably I didn´t make it to the MusicOn not even once this year, which in fact I regret and I do have intentions of being better next year. Even though MusicOn doesn´t have the perfect crowd I desire, I personally think Marco Carola is a genius in his style and he´s a proper perpetuum mobile music machine that can play for hours without a single stop. Besides I really like some of the MusicOn crew and I think they are nice people (despite what many say). Nevertheless, I´ve decided to appear at the afterparty of the MusicOn Closing at Cova Santa which was a lot of fun.
Same thing happened to Hyte, which I did not attend even once this year. Personally I am a fan of Loco Dice and his production (especially the one he did inspired by Brooklyn) I sadly never made it to his party. In fact I´ve attended once the afterparty, which was fine, musically amazing but it didn´t smash my ass for the visual reason… I am sophisticated, I like art and I like the beauty. Unhappily the villa where the afterparty was was kind of cold to me and didn´t have a nice view and there was nothing that caught my eye there.
I went just once to Pacha this year and it was a Flower Power night (which is always a lot of fun). Many friends of mine would go there on Sunday to hear Solomon play but I was never tempted enough. Last year I liked his tunes, nevertheless my music taste has slightly changed. Also hearing his set at the afterparty of Opening of Circo Loco discouraged me a lot. I appreciate him as an artist and as a person but I am not a fan of his style.
I went for the Opening and Closing of Ushuaia, which was pretty nice. At the Ushuaia closings I made good friends with the guys ( Israel and Carlos) from Ibiza Sonica Radio that were recording live set. Ushuaia closing was very amusing so I had great time.
After Ushuaia, I went to sleep and stood up 7.45 AM together with my party buddy Ayane to go for the closing of Amnesia. Going there early in the morning was the best decision we could take. We were fresh, full of energy and there was perfect amount of people ( not too many, not too little). As well as there was already a vibe created by the night, and I got pretty high from peoples energy around me.
There was one interesting moment at Amnesia when Maceo Plex played a track that was building up for 9 minutes. Even though for me Maceo Plex is just ok and never made a big impression on met I actually found it pretty interesting, first of all
Besides I went to the Closing of Beachhouse and Closing of the art gallery in Salinas, which was actually really nice.
So the season of 2015 is over and it has honestly been a pleasure. I love Ibiza so much, I cannot imagine my life anywhere else in the summer time.
Thank you the universe for letting me stay the whole summer in Ibiza and doing only things I love for living. Thank you my old friends for being with me an supporting me anytime and thank you my new friends for welcoming to my life.
